The basic fundamentals of grammar school are not there. The math program is especially lacking. Students are not proficient at adding, subtracting, multiplication and division. Yet, they are moved on to more complex problems such as fractions and geometry. This is all of district 303, not just Bell Graham. Teachers are above average which is why I gave Bell Graham 3 stars.

I have two children who attend Bell Graham, one of which has some special needs. I could not be more pleased with the teaching staff, management and education provided. The staff is resourceful, informative and compassionate. The curriculum at Bell Graham is challanging and cutting edge however, the staff continues to impress me with thier abilities to help the children reach that higher standard. In addition, thier resource staff is second to none! The insight and services provided are simply incredible. The intellectual and educational growth we have seen in our children is a true testiment to the quality of this school and it's staff. Cudos to Bell Graham, where every ounce of each teachers compassion always shows through!!

I am not satisfy with the school, they don't put more weight in teaching the kids proper education. There are a big sizes classes,it's a lot of kids in one room. That'w why I choose to transfer my daughter to another school,it was hard decision.

To be honest, the school is about as poorly managed as the curriculum is designed. No one is really focused on the fundamentals of education. Additionally, the children are not motivated to perform. Homework is not reviewed by the respective teacher. Finally, report cards are not based upon metric-based evaluation...just what the teacher 'sees' or 'feels'. If you desire this type of education for your children, this is a great school...but hire a tutor. Your child will need it to get into a real school later in life. I am currently educating my high schooler on how to study for tests...must have been absent that day in Bell Graham. How do you get through grade school and middle school and not know even how to study?

You will not find better teachers anywhere! My son attended 5th grade here and had the best experience. The teachers are dedicated, innovative and caring. They push students to reach, anc concentrate on creating thoughtful, reflective learners. Though we have been happy with other STC schools, this environment was the best!

My daughter has attended Bell-Graham since it opened! K-4th has been a wonderful experience for her and the staff is warm, loving, and very intuitive to the needs of the children. District 303 is why we live in St. Charles.

Bell-Graham is an excellent elementary school. It is a high quality, safe school that has teachers that care about teaching. So far my son who will be attending 3rd grade this year has had teachers who were enthusiastic and took the time to really know my son and his personality in the school environment. The only complaint would be that the curriculum chosen for district 303 if followed exactly seems to test more than teach the material. I do not see this as a teacher issue as much as a curriculum choice for the district. I know parents at Ferson Creek Elementary have reported that their teachers do not follow the curriculum as strictly as Bell-Graham. In my opinion the curriculum isn't an organized one. It doesn't spend enough time on a subject before moving to the next. Not all children can absorb material that teachs in this way.
