Tremendous school with caring teachers and Administration. This school has it all with the exception of a friendly staff. The secretarial support at the school is subpar, and they are the first thing people who enter the school deal with. Time for a change in that department.

Our two eldest daughters attend Newman High School. While private school is not easy to budget, what they receive from attending Newman will last a lifetime. The teachers and staff are fantastic. The parental involvement is wonderful. Our oldest daughter attended Dixon High School for her first two years, and was just getting by, C's and some D's. Now, as a senior at Newman, she is on the honor roll. I truly believe that she has tried harder because of the students around her and the higher standards that are in place. It is a perfect example of the saying, you are the company you keep. We are now searching for colleges! We are so truly blessed to have such a wonderful school in our area! We Love Newman!

I am at Newman as a Jr This school has smaller grade sizes (my class is only 80 students and we are one off the biggest) Though it is expencsive, it is worth it for the education that I get there. I travel 45 min one way to get here, only because I think it is better than a public school. One down side is that to take a tech class the student must drive to W.A.C.C - the tech school for the area. Our sports are great, and we have many non-sporting events for students too. The teachers CARE about the students. Recently one of my class mates died in a car crash and the school paused class for one day to have a school wide mass We may be a catholic school, but many students w/out religion come here for the education
