Good SWAS program ,excellent teachers.
to me tefft is the greatest school ever it made me so much smarter in alot of ways and interacting with all of the other students is a great way for me to not be shy about going to school anymore the teachers are so cool and the rest of the staff is also we do stuff like the three r's and that is respect your school respect yourself and respect others and that to m e is a great message to everyone
There are way too many fights, gangs, drug use, and unappropriate behavior.
When I walked in this school I was shocked by the age of the school and the diversity of students. But I came to love this school. They run a tight ship in terms of safety/security and academically -at least in SWAS - it is top-notch. I am very critical of U46 schools in general, but this school has been a great experience for my child.
I have a gifted child here and am happy with the quality of education. It is frankly a shock to walk the halls and see the diverse (and non-English speaking) students and then find that the education is actually good.
