First of all Woodland School is in Livingston county not Lasalle. Very good country school, parents and teachers work very well together. You do not have the rat race you might find in city schools. The school has a good working relationship with other area schools

This school is sadly lacking in nearly all areas. Since my time there I have seen a severe decrease in the amount of enthusiasm on the teachers' part, and the amount of motivation and work ethic on the students' part. It is very obvious that there is no plans to fix any problems within the school. Those problems include; lack of courses, poor teacher experience, poor financial choices, and a decrease in rule enforcement and ethics. The school insists on financing needless areas like agriculture and a failing sports team, instead of focusing on more important areas such as education and a clean environment. I'm sorry to say that very many problems exist within this school, many more then I can even explain. I would love to see this school turn around with some better management, but sadly this doesn't seem to be the case at the moment.

There is so much potential here at Woodland. The teachers are very highly qualified as well as the administration. The parent involvement is beyond belief!
