I think Petty is such an awesome school! I am proud to be a member of such a caring staff. Everyone is genuinely concerned with the well-being of all of the students and staff. Go Petty!
Petty is an amazing school with an amazing staff I wish all school in IL were as good as Petty!
The staff at Petty Elementary school goes out of their way to make sure that students enjoy learning in a close knit family environment. Parent envolvement is excellent creating outstanding parent/teacher/child relationships, so that we can all work together to see that our children excel in school. Any question or concern that I have is addressed in a timely, efficient manner. Students thrive when they learn in an environment with such an wonderful atmosphere. Each teacher and staff member knows all of the kids by name and care about each child as an individual.
I feel Petty School is a great country school where our students get all the individual attention that they need. I have two children that have gone to Petty and they are both excelling in school. If there is a problem the teachers will discuss the issue(s) with you in a timely manner. The teachers are some of the best.
I feel that Petty Elementary is the best school around. It is a small country school where the children get a lot of teacher attention. The staff is excellent and always willing to go above and beyond the normal duties to see that the children succeed.
I personally feel that Petty School's Administration is horrible. They allowed my 5 year old to start kindergarten, then decided that he would not be able to attend 1st grade next year because of his age, yet they are letting him finish the school year. They are more than happy to punish him for something that is not his fault. They also like to take drinks away from children at lunch time, as well as refuse drinks to them, such as juice. I think a child should be allowed to drink whatever they want, milk, juice, or water, for lunch.
