Poor school. Complete lack of a challenging curriculum. Poor educational techniques. Only come here if you want a sub-standard quality education for your kid and want them to pass. They can work in Mcdonalds for the rest of their life!

While TPHS isn't bad at getting average students into mediocre colleges, it offers little encouragement for students that have the potential to attend more respectable universities. They must address this in order to be on par with the good public schools in the area.

It's small enough to allow the students to actually know each other. No oversized impersonal atmosphere here! The staff actually remembers the alumni too!

Ok, lets try and cover some of the things that have been brought up in other reviews. I attended TPHS from 2004-2007 so I can say I have some of the most recent experience here. First of all, a football team doesnt make the school. We didnt have Lincoln Way East's or Joliet Catholic's type of prestige level. The football team is made up of the local kids that want to play. As far as athletic opportunity, this school is second to none. Secondly, the school is not racist or anything of that nature. The diversity in this school is what makes this school so amazing. We dont have tension between races or anything like that. Never had any problems with gangs. I had the opportunity to go to Andrew, Lincoln Way East, and Sandburg after 2 years at TPHS and I passed it up to continue going there.

TPHS is probably one of the best schools that anyone could attend. The diversity, academics, teachers, athletics, etc. It has a great family feeling. As with anything in life nothing is perfect! I attended TP when Mr. Reed was principal (a long time ago) and I loved the school then and I love the school now. As a matter of fact, I met my husband there and now our children attend TP. I adore the principal, Dr. Theresa Zielinski (a former TP student as well) and most of the staff is awesome. I chose my home based on my children being able to attend this school. I think that whatever school you go to, you get out of it what you put into it. TP is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone! GO TITANS! P.S. yes the sports

I graduated from TPHS a few years ago the guidance staff was most helpful when choosing a college. The rest of the staff is just as good. The diversity is what makes TPHS a wonderful school. I am now working on my bachelors degree in early childhood education, thanks to TPHS early childhood classes which helped me choose what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Take advantage of all the activities they have to offer as well as sports and services. They are there for you! Ask for help-thats what the staff is there for. As for the parking pass $50 is not that bad, the earing thing has been around for a while so what? Also, show the freshman around then they wont be so lost and hallways wont be so crowded. Make friends and have fun-it will be over before you know it! Trust Me.

Tinley Park High School is GREAT! There is a lot of different kinds of students, from different countries. It is an interesting place to acknowledge the different cultures around the world! As for the education, the teachers are always willing to help you out anytime you need them. The counselors' doors are always open for you. Also, the principal, Dr. McGraw, always has a cheerful face. Lastly, this school was in Illinois's record for being the cleanest. I highly recommend this high school. Go Titans!
