I'm a current student, and I disagree with the last 2 reviews. I don't have the 'it' last name, but I am treated the exact same as the ones who do. I get help on everything I need help with if I ask for it. The school is not a disappointment or superficial. Don't blame the school for your depression, that's something that you caused on yourself. Not purposely, but it is a mental problem. The school has people that you can get help from. Most of the teachers are there for you if you need or want to talk to them. It's honestly one of the best schools and I am proud that I attend it.

I too attended junior high and high school in Stark County and I would have to agree that if you didn't have the 'it' last name you weren't going to get far in this high school. It was the most superficial school and it reminded me of something out of the movies. But I have learned that life isn't about who you know and what sport you play because those connections will eventually be broken or lost. I have experienced so much more than the typical cheerleader or pom pon. Yeah I was one of the athletes but I was never actually accepted but I am glad because I would have never learned so many ways to love me for me and to exceed in life.

I went to all of Stark County schools but am only commenting on th high school. The school is a BIG dissapointment! I was a student who needed a little extra help(especially in math) and never got it. The school favored certain students like the football players cheerleaders...The school brought my self esteem down and I am now suffering from depression. The extracurricular activities are ok. I believe that they need more art programs. Please remember that it hasn't been that long since I was at this school. I graduated in 2004.

Small town school where most of the teachers have been there long enough to see second and even third generations coming through. Most of the teachers are from that area and are well known for who they are and what they do in the community. The schools have been combined with other towns, but the same basic people are still around or still try to make their long time there known and their ideas alive. It was a good school when I was there years ago, and still seems to have some of the best people in it.

My family has had two children go through K-12 at this school. We are very pleased with the education that both have received. In our opinion Stark County has one of the best small schools in the area offering a quality array of classes and a wide variety of extracurricular activities. Stark County High School offers an extracurricular activity for every student who chooses to participate, from the fine arts to athletics.
