As a parent of two elementary school children and a daughter of a elementary educator I cant say enough great things about Silver Creek and would rate them a 9 out of 10, leaving them one point to give room for additional programs and activities (after school enrichment & gifted programs) and working on their secretarial staff that needs to be replaced. They are amazing, principals, staff and the PTO! It's the more productive PTO I have ever seen! The teachers are involved with the community and invested in the students; they really care and go the extra mile. Mrs. Hart is our all time favorite... she is so talented and takes the children beyond the core curriculum so they do so much more. If you come to Silver Creek you will not be disappointed, the educational value is top notch!

This is a brand new school this year & it is proving to be a great learning environment for the kids. The security during school hours couldn't be better. The Pre-K program is top-notch! Mrs. Panacopoulos is great! The curriculum is actually better than the private school pre-K that my oldest child went to a few years before. We are amazed at how much our preschooler has learned...even sign language! They have added some extracurricular activities to be offered to kids in 3rd-5th grades, such as basketball and Girls on the Run (where the girls train to run in a 5k race). I've heard talk that foreign language classes might be a possibility in the future, which would make this school even more awesome. Parent involvement is high. The staff is friendly & the principal honestly cares about the kids & making it the best learning environment possible.

My son is just graduating from Dewey. We have had only positive experiences in his 3 years there. Great teachers. Good communication. Strong curriculum. There didn't seem to be many extracurricular activities that were school-sponsored but a lot is offered through the community.
