I love this school so far. My daughter is in Pre-K and I have seen such growth in her education as well as social development. She is a bright child and they challenge her daily. She also comes home singing christian songs. I am so pleased and impressed, and that is a lot coming from me. This is her first year being there, but thank heavens....so far..so good!

Canaan Academy is not a 5 star school. It is more like a one star school. There was one year they did not pay their teachers the full contract amount, but only paid the few teachers coming back for the next year, As a parent, I will not be sending my children to Canaan because they lack honesty and integrity. The Superintendent and the principal are father & son, and they do everything under the table, and they are not open to changes.

Canaan Academy is an Excellent school. The teachers are well qualified and will go out of their way to help the students in the school. I would definately recommend this school to parents. The school provides great structure and the students are well behaved.

Canaan is a Christian base school with an excellent curriculum. The the students are in the 97% percentile. The administrators and teachers are not only concern about the students getting the very best education possible, the are also concerned about the children in general. Many of the students can speak 3 or more languages by the time the reach 4th grade.

Very well structured, loving and caring environment that teaches your child to work to their potential with a Christ-centered focus.

This school has a good curriculum. The teachers are willing to help their students and there are tutors for them if they need them. This school has had a lot of changes over the years and I hope it grows like it was when it first opened. If not then congrats to those who excelled from the education that they received from this school.

Canaan has an solid academic program with a commitment to educating *each* student. The teachers are well- qualified and dedicated to helping each child succeed. Parents are an integral part of the Canaan curriculum and it is through a strong relationship between parent, teacher and child that Canaan achieves its success. My husband and I are pleased that our children attend Canaan Academy.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
