The principal of Aspen is a great role model and all around terrific man. He was a teacher here about 4 years ago and he comes back with experience, knowledge and understanding of how to not only encourage staff, but students also. He leads a dedicated staff, and the youngest teachers are bringing a whole new batch if fresh ideas. Technology is taking off, despite the district's decision to cut back in the other schools. (Big mistake in this day and age!) If only the district administration could stop the infighting the forward progress might continue. The district is spending money they shouldn't, on curriculum that is outdated. Parents don't know what is going on behind closed doors. Aspen keeps itself below the radar and is successful.
This is such a close net school, everybody seems to know everybody and there is such a good relationship between the parent and teachers.
