As a parent of students who have been going to this school since pre-school, I feel that IFS has alot to offer. The level of education is comparable to any school if not better. Extracurricular activities are present, but I feel more are needed. Parents are highly involved in the school and help provide the positive atmosphere to help children grow both mentally as well as socially.

The school provides an excellent environment to develop academic skills and personal qualities of students. Students are challenged to perform in all areas while enjoying the caring and family culture of the school.

The Quality of academic programs at this school are excellent. The teachers and the administrative staff is very responsive. There are plans to expand the school. The availability of music, art and other sports is a draw back. Currently there are Basketball and Soccer sports program. Extra curricular activities include Math Club and tutoring programs. The level of parent participation is average.

I disagree, at least the website and mailing list are the only best things liked about the school! The administration, I agree, has a problem. They are disorganized and powerless. They report to a Board that defers to those in the community who have more money. If your child has any problems than it can be a problem if you are not in favor. It is not democratic as it should be. I was upset to see the children did not practice good character and citizenship as Americans as much as they did other things. And agreed, you never know your child has a problem until the report card is in the mail. Communication with parents is not strong. Discipline is a problem along with disorganization. No extracurricular. I expected much more. And even with a new principal coming, it really is too little too late in my opinion.

I believe the level of education is comparable to other public schools. However, the administration needs much improvement! There's no news bulletins about important events, you can never get any questions answered, and no one in the office seems to know what's going on in the school. The website is hardly ever updated, and no one ever replies to emails. There are no extra curricular activities, and hardly any after school programs that children can get involved in. The staff seems disorganized; they often lose test papers! Parents are not advised of the child's progress until the report card is received in the mail. Overall this school needs to tighten the administration.

This school is very low in the standard of education and discipline. Also the administrators are never on task to insure saftey of our children. Overall quality of the school is very poor.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
