Hardest working, quality teachers ever! Parent involvement is lacking. The new principal and vice principal are top notch!

This is one of the best schools in the district. The principal is very responsive and open. The teachers really care about the students and their education. They teach according to students' needs not to deliver information. The entire staff deserves praise!

I feel that the current school administration should recieve a failing grade. There has been an increase in problems around the school and in the school. Instead of addresseing these issues face to face with the student body, it appears that they are taking the 'wait and see' approach.

Our children have attended for over 6 years at Johnson and we are very pleased. With the transition of our community to largely Spanish speaking, we hope our district will not make the mistakes West Chicago school districts have made by enabling children to not learn English.

Overall dedication of teachers if impressive. New administrative leadership in the last two years is moving the school in a very positive direction. The quality of the art program is top notch. Parent involvement is not especially strong.

I think Johnson School rocks! There are some of the hardest working teachers, greatest families and amazing students that attend Johnson School. Don't judge us unless you really know us!

My sons first year of 'real school' at Clifford Johnson has been a wonderful experience. He is eager to return in the fall. My son was given an education and opportunities in one on one and with the class. The Kindergarten teacher had unique ability to make them all feel good about what they were doing. I found that many parents were not as supportive as they could have been. A child's success will be much more evident with parental support for the teacher, school and programs.

My two daughters also attended Johnson from Kindergarten through the fourth grade. I thought overall it was a very good school with some excellent teachers. My one daughter had Mrs. Gauger in Kindergarten, by far she is the best teacher either of my children have had so far in their school career. They are now in H.S. The problem I found with the school was also discipline coming from the administration, and Math 2000. We also moved out of state, and I too found that Math was an area they lacked. They were fine in all other areas, especially science.

My two daughters attended Johnson from Kindergarten through the 4th grade. As the years went on I saw the drop in discipline, and quality of education. My family moved out of state, when attending their new school my children found themselves considerably behind in math. The grades that they were given at Johnson were always above average. I really believe that math 2000 was the problem.
