Academy of Our Lady

I've sent my son to Lake Shore Catholic Academy ever since he was in kindergarten and I wish I would have sent him there for the Pre-K class also. The faculty really cares about the children and they form bonds with them through the years. I sent my son there for discipline because the public schools in the neighborhood were zoos. The teachers kept on top of him and let me know when he was starting to slip and mess up. The class sizes were small and his education at Lake Shore Catholic Academy was worth every cent!

This is a wonderful school. I attended here in my 6th and 7th grade years (01-03). After a horrible experience in the North Chicago Public School System, I was relieved to find LSCA. The teachers are wonderful, among the best I've ever had. I learned so much. Lake Shore put me ahead of the curriculum I am currently using in Virginia. If you are considering sending a child here, don't hesitate. You will love it. Parents are amply involved, and everyone makes wonderful use of the facility. There are a number of sports available, with a terrific music program. Please call for information. They would love to have you as a part of their family.

It is a great learning environment. The difference between Lake Shore and other schools is that the love and care teachers give to these kids each day doesn't stop at 2:00. The teachers are there before and after school, doing whatever they can to improve the lives of these children.

This is a great down to earth school, you can send your kids to school without worry. The learning criteria is high, and the teachers are very open minded to discussions, and very caring.
