Kudos: Frankfort Intermediate Serves a community with a high unemployment rate. At my house it can be feast or famine at any given moment, so I know our kids have two opportunities to get something good to eat. I am a single, low income parent and I appreciate the way this beautiful school is run. For two years the volunteers and staff have provided a safe environment for my child. We have a top notch music teacher still sharing her amazing skill with our kids. This is great at a time when art and music have taken such bit hits. last year was great and I hope this one proves to be even better. The sixth grade has opened up band and football for my son. We have such an amazing sports and musical heritage in this small town and we should be doing everything we can to preserve it.
Having 3 kids ages 19-11 go through the school system in West Frankfort, I feel that it is tops. Great teachers and administration.
