My son loves this school! The teachers are very attentive and cater to his needs. I also love that the teachers always give me great advice on how I could improve his learning at home. I love that there is large Hispanic influence considering that being bilingual is a gift. It's a shame that they gave this school such a low rating because it truly is misleading.

Mark Twain Elementary is a great school! This school has some of the best teachers who won't hesitate to give your child some extra help when they need a little boost in different subjects.

Great school. My daughter loves it here. The teachers and the staff are great.Do not let the score fool you! Smart kids and devoted teachers are here!

These expectations have been adjusted to better align with the Common Core State Standards, a multi-state initiative that established year-by-year guidelines outlining the grade-specific skills and content students need to stay on the path to college and career readiness. The higher expectations of the new standards will result in a downward shift of where students rank in meeting or exceeding standards.
