This school was beyond horrible. I went there only for 8th grade, and before that I came from a different middle school. The teachers were practically learning what they were teaching. They had absolutely no prior knowledge despite teaching for 60 years (they all look THAT ancient). I relearned everything I had learned my 6th grade year in 8th grade. The children are also lazy and do no work with the exception of 2 or 3 kids. Thanks for making me that much dumber.
excellant school with dedicated teachers and caring staff
I have to agree with everyone else, the staff is fantastic. The teachers there have so much compassion. Since the day my daughter and I walked into WJH, we have felt very welcomed. Being an alumni of this school, and having my daughter go to the school were my husband and I went is truly an honor. And for some of the teachers that are still there who taught me the values of life to now teach our daughter is awesome! Thank you for all the hardwork!!!
Great teachers and administrators.
From the moment my son and I stepped in to the commons during orientation we felt welcomed into the school. The program offers a true education of the 'full child' and family. The tecahing styles are excellent, and support staff is very accomodating and friendly. The leadership at this school is definlatly top notch as it trickles down through the students. The sense of pride and willingness to work together as a team is seen even when school is not in session. The school is sensative to the needs of the community and is seen in extra curricular activities throughout the town. What a better way to assist with the learning process for children than by learning from example. Worth Junior High is a truly outstanding school!!
WJH is a great school and they have great Teachers!! I went there and so did my daughter...
I need to 'brag' about the staff. They are all so nice and treat all the students and parents with the upmost respect. They do so much for our kids and really care for them. We as parents are proud to have such a wonderful school. Thank You Worth Junior High!
WJH seems to be ignorant of current teaching quality. It also appears that they are in desperate need of more passionate teachers, because it is lacked thereof here. Some teachers here have lost the desire to teach, and therefore are not able to let us as students gain the proper amount of knowledge. Very few of us will go far, I believe. I hate to sound like a pessimist, but Worth Junior High can do much better
its unfair to the children; their should be more fun, yet educational activities in the school
hey, i think worth is a great school to get you ready for high school. they don't go crazy on you for things most teachers do because they treat us like adults. they also have a great band program. last year we made it to state and and not 1 kid has ever had privite lesson!!!!we also have a school chorous that is something fun to do. our sport teams are great. i play volleyball basketball and track and i always have fun doing it. we also have cheerleaders. well worth is pretty great.-and 8th grader class 09!
