Have a special needs child ACES couldn't accommodate. Instead of helping me get him the help he needed, they fought me every step of the way. They even went as far as telling the counselor and his teacher not to talk to me outside of meetings. Thankfully he is no longer going to ACES and is where he needs to be.
my child transferred to this school when we moved to a different town. My childs grades began to drop and she became depressed because she was getting bullied. There was a lot more drama and too much stress for my child. The counselor and principle were both terrible. The staff also talked bad about some of the students.
The school is doing a great job with typical kids. Special needs program lacks experience and direction. Special education teacher is too limited by resources that are not available. High functioning children are able to fair better. Children that require more patience and structure the staff are not trained for that high need.
