ZR has great teachers. My child loves this school. It would be better if they would hire Mrs. Bailey as the principal.
Lacks principal leadership, but has excellent teachers.
The Zeigler-Royalton School District is an oustanding district for both K-8 and High School students. It is a small district, which allows a small teacher to pupil ratio. The teachers are all highly motivated, and care about the needs of your child. Students in our district always score high on the State of Illinois achievement test (ISAT), and are well prepared for a secondary education at national universities. The district takes into concideration the needs of technology, and has highly trained staff to meet these everchanging needs. They provide an after-school program for students grade K-8, as well as many extra-curricular choices for High School students. Overall, ZR is great!
