I had a 3rd grade teacher that was willing to take us in when my parents were separating. We didn't move in, but it taught me compassion.

My high school English teacher Mr. Price Smith taught me that Cleopatra was a redhead. I'm a redhead and that really helped me identify with that period in history and brought it alive for me.
