My daughter goes to a Spanish immersion school. If her teachers were more fluent in both English and Spanish that would be helpful with communication, especially to parents.

The extent of the " arts" taught in our elementary. They are allowed to go to a music class for 1 day maybe 2 out of the entire week. I think our kids would be more rounded if they were taught more of the arts.

The process of the matrix/class selection made less secretive. Teachers have to swear not to say which grade they'll teach, which is silly in a school as open as ours. And parents should know before the first day of school which teacher kids get.

Including the parents more. I feel the staff wants to keep the parents at a distance--out of the classroom. I'd love to see more what my son does in class.

To get the principal to feel empowered to motivate the teachers beyond the standard.
