This school seems to be experimental in that some part of the curriculums, technology, leadership, and teaching staff seem to be changing on a yearly basis for the past six years. At least some parts of the school adopted a new math program one year and decided in that same year to discontinue using it. Also, there have been three principals in the past three years. I have had children as students in this building for fifteen of the past seventeen years and currently have students in the building. I have never been able to speak directly with the principal for any matter the school or I may have thought important. The school says it wants parents to participate in children's education and to partner with the school, but I don't see this as a philosophy actively practiced. When I enter the building through the main office, the office staff does not usually act pleasant; they may even ignore me. I have only once before complained about any school personnel, and then I had been asked to give my opinion. The staff, as I see it, seems less and less concerned about students.

The teachers seem to work well with students. There seems to have been a drop in having fun while learning due to state standards. There is no downtime at all during the year due to these standards. Overall, I am very pleased with the school system. Most of all, their 'ROCKET MATH' program is a wonderful idea. It starts in first grade and progresses as the children get older. There are many options for the kids for after school activities.
