Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Very little communication between parents and teachers. Teachers and principals don't answer emails. You have to search out problems for yourself. No tutoring or extra help when needed. Teachers and principals are bulling kids more than their peers do. Counselors are the only source for communication and I do give the counselors more stars for their efforts. My yougest child attends one of the elementary schools and I'm happy with it but would like to move before he goes to high school because I'd rather he not go to this one!!

This school is not recommended period. They instituted a program called PLATO Recovery which allows students who should be held back a grade to proceed to the next grade and make up the work from the previous year. I found several of the teachers unhelpful and difficult to contact. The office staff is judgemental and rude. Once again signs of small town USA and not so inviting to newcomers.

I loved that school so much. I thought of it as the best school in the district. The teachers are awsome and everything. Yet I had to move.
