I would never have my children go to any other school around here. NHES staff is very involved with the students and really do care about the children's education. When my son is unable to understand something each year, every teacher has been able to come up with something different to help him understand. Yes, I do agree with the comments below about how there are many fund raisers, but everyone needs to realize that these fund raisers help pay for all the extra activities our children are able to do, such as after school movie night, March Madness, and many more. Thank you NHES staff and all the volunteers who help!

Some good teachers, some more interested in their social standing than teaching. No challenge to students hardly at all. Constantly running fundraisers, also pulling kids out of classrooms for feel good events instead of teaching.

Teachers are good with students, but don't really challenge them as well as you would expect. Nice facility, but the teacher to parent contact is poor.

Very kind and involved staff. The curriculum doesn't seem quite challenging enough in my experience. The school constantly runs various fund-raisers, which is a minor annoyance.

I have been involved with NHES for 4yrs. My oldest son has Aspberger's Disease. It has been a hard role to play out, but, with the help and love shown by the staff, he is in 2nd. grade and showing great improvement. His 6yr. old sister has been delighted to be in 'big' school as she knows all of the staff and the way the other students interact with both children is amazing. This school not only teaches the three 'R''s but, how to love and help other students, especially those with disabilities. Not one day goes by that I don't see the respect of those wonderful students. And the staff are great to teach respect and love the way they do is amazing in this day and age. Thank-you NHES!
