St. Bartholomew school has had the top ISTEP scores in the COUNTY for the past 3 years. I think part of this can be attributed to the effectiveness of the teachers, along with hard work of students and involvement of parents.

Absolutely. The teachers have high expectations of students and push them to think deeply and persevere through challenges. The students are definitely prepared for life outside of St. B's when they leave.

St. Bartholomew School provides top notch education for students. The teachers are dedicated to seeing their students succeed. There is a true community feel at St. B's. The religious component is a true blessing. What an awesome school! I highly recommend it.

Every teacher and assistant at St. Bartholomew School deserves a huge thank you!! They are paid significantly less than public school teachers, but their results continue to exceed that of any other public or private school in Bartholomew County! St. Bartholomew's PTO is very dedicated and hard working. The PTO provides the students at St. Bartholomew School with many opportunities they would not have if the PTO did not work so hard!

If you are into standardized tests, students' ISTEP scores continue to improve even though they are already the highest in the county. Teachers are very effective in creating positive relationships with their students that encourage learning.

On average students get about the right amount of homework. It mostly depends on the teacher.

Persistence, grit and determination are virtues first learned at home. St. B's does encourage the development of these virtues. Students are always encouraged to finish assignments and commitments to the end.

Respect is another virtue that is mostly learned at home. Respect for self, other students and teachers is expected at all times.

Develops empathy: Strongly agree

Compassion, caring and empathy must be learned and taught at home, but a school can support and encourage the development of these virtues. St. B's discuss these topics in weekly meetings as part of the bullying prevention program.
