I thank God for CSS! I attended the 8th and 9th grades there, and if they hadn't helped me with my math and social skills I probably would have dropped out. I came to them as an 8th grader doing 6th grade math in two years I was caught up to where i was supposed to be. They taught me valuable lessons that they do not teach you in public schools anymore, like self-respect and confidence. Thanks to my teachers .

I have two children at CCS: a daughter in preschool, and a daughter in second grade. Even though both children are very different in personality and learning style, I feel that both of my children are receiving a personalized approach to their education that motivates them and rewards them for their effort. I love it when I talk to them at home and they tell me the things they have learned, not just about their academics, but about the things they have learned about God and his Word. The teachers are dedicated, adaptable and very kind. And the parents are wonderful too. They get involved to make 'extras' happen that are harder for a small school to manage. I'm so thankful for CCS!

This is our first year at CCS. We came from a public school, although the public school was a good school the classrooms were overfilled and several children that were rowdy and not controlled. I have a 1st grader and 5th grader. My 5th grader became withdrawn, anxious, asked me to pray for him before he left for school. The noise in the classroom and the size really affected him. This year has been amazing and within couple of weeks I noticed such a difference in his anxiety and he again loved school. He has had a wonderful class that is small is size but huge with love and care for one another. His teacher noticed when he needed moved up in math and encouraged us to do that. He got overlooked last year because there were too many kids. I feel so blessed by this school.

This is my little girl's second year at CCS..she is now in K-5. Classes are small which i believe really helps the kids learn quickly, and the teachers can do a much better job at helping each child individually, as well as learning each child's personality. Knowing that my child is learning from the bible every single day is comforting and a blessing. I feel that her best interest is in every staff member's heart, and i never worry when she is at school.

This year is our second year at Covington Christian. I have 2 boys attending, one 1st gr. & another 9th gr. My oldest has ADHD & it always took alot of work with teachers and myself to keep him on track. He had a low self esteem for years and I worried that he would have difficulties in 'life' with his low self esteem and ADHD combination. After just a few weeks at Covington Christian the school had rearrange the entire schedule to help adjust to my sons difficulties. His teachers would help him before & after school & gave him their home phone #s. After just a few months my son was a different child, he was confident & had friends. I will never forget the first time I picked up the boys & watched as the highschool boys hugged eachother goodbye and said 'love you' That's Christ at work!

What an encouragement for your child to bring home a handwritten note from her teacher that tells her what a blessing she is to her. That she is thankful to have her in class and that she appreciates her. Teachers reflecting the Son and walking in integrity hand in hand with our children. C.C.S. is an answer to prayer. Some may feel we are trying to protect our children from this world by enrolling them in a private school. It is not a matter of protection; it s preparation. God s word commands us to train our children up in the way that they should go. We feel they should go God s way and C.C.S. is helping us achieve that. C.C.S. is enabling us to build a firm foundation on the truth for our children.

I am a graduate of CCS. It has an amazing academic program with an emphasis on the English and Bible studies. I am convinced that CCS is literally one of the best schools in our state as far as grammar and composition are concerned. They also have a dedicated music teacher who is skilled in almost any instrument available. Parents are encouraged to meet with teachers, and the school has regular events focused specifically towards parents.

We found Covington Christian School encourages children: to excel academically; to explore artistically; to enjoy activities/sports with all grade levels; to be compassionate to one another and their community; to be responsible; to be Christ-like. Knowing the condition of public schools today, we are grateful to have a school of good morals and quality academics available to assist in the education of our child.
