Covington Community High School

This school has an equal amount of adequate teachers as it does exceptional teachers. It has individuals willing to take on the responsibility of a drama club but are held back by the administration. If not for the sports and other extra-curricular activities, grades would be even more of a problem.

This school has some very good teachers who do a great job, unfortunately with limited pay - we have too many new teachers with little or no experience who leave some of the children behind in what they should have learned. The experienced teachers that have been here for awhile are great! Sports are great if you have a boy! They don't much care about the girls' sports. The coaches we do get for the girls' sports don't play to win they have popularity contests! The principal does a very good job!

The extracurricular activities at Covington High School are limited, unless the child plays a sport. There is currently not a drama club available to the students . Maybe if the school would put a little effort into finding someone willing to help with this artistic activity then the ratings would go up. All that Covington High School officials care about is sports (meaning Varsity Basketball).
