Great school! Always willing to work with the students and help them excel in their areas of talent and interest.

This school is prettty good as far as high schools go. The principal is very involved with the students. At freshman orientation, he told the students that if they ever had a problem they could come to him for anything and he would do all in his power to see that they got help. The teachers are okay. The science department is phenomenal, the English department is up-to-date and well-staffed. Some of the math teachers are ineffective and moody, although one is really outstanding. The exams can be a little hard, but the teachers are really understanding and give plenty of time and resourxces to prepare for them.

A few teachers are good. One of the guidance counselors is great - straight forward, wise and honest. I wonder if the principal has much a clue of what is going on. Once during the week, one of the clubs had a special outing from right after school till 11 p.m. I think it's great that the club was active and appreciate the advisor, but I do not agree that the school allow such a lengthy extracurricular activity so late on a school night especially when it was an outing that could have been scheduled any day of the week, and even moreso when there were FOUR major exams the next day. (Even without the outing, FOUR exams in one day is not even practiced at the university level!) It's no wonder the students do poorly. And do you think many parents complained? Less than a handful, if that.
