I agree they do think your young child mine is 5 and they should act like adults. Its like there is no organization in that school.

Dillsboro Elementary School was honored as a 4-Star School for the 2010-2011 school year by the Indiana Department of Education. Dillsboro was the only school in Dearborn County to receive this honor. Along with Manchester Elementary School in 2007, also a member of the South Dearborn School system, the only two schools to receive this award since conception of 4-Star School Award. In 2006 Dillsboro was selected as one of the top fourteen schools in the state of Indiana and received the National Blue Ribbon School Award. Historically, Dillsboro School has been regarded as an excellent place to have your child attend.

On September 22, Dillsboro Elementary School was one of fourteen Indiana schools named to receive the 2006 NCLB - Blue Ribbon Award. This is given to for exemplary academic performance.

We just moved into the school system the middle of the school year- it took my 2 weeks to get my son enrolled- they didn't know what to do with him. The principal was obviously not in charge. Then at enrollment I request that he be put back a grade because of learning disabilities they fought me then after they allowed me to do so asked me how he made it to the other grade, then requested he be held back for a third time in the same grade. The teacher my son had expected them to act like adults instead of third graders.

Dillsboro Elementary school is an awesome elementary education! The teachers there really care about their kids! I am priviledged to have my kids attending!
