WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ZERO TOLERENCE FOR BULLYING!! IF THE ADMINISTRATION CAN BULLY A STAFF MEMBER IN FRONT OF OUR OWN CHILDREN HOW CAN WE TEACH OUR CHILDREN THAT BULLYING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!
This is the best elementary school in Johnson County.
Having gone to the same school when I was a child, I was already aware of most things at East Side. Edinburgh is a small town & that has it's drawbacks. Some of the teachers have been there for years and remember some of the parents or family members of the students and tend to judge the kids because of that. Some of the teachers are wonderful & then there are a few who give you the feeling that they are only because they have to be. It's not as behind in studies as some people think, but it's not a front runner either. My child liked the school a lot and I really only had a run-in with one of the teachers, so all in all, I would say it's a good school. You just have to hope you don't get the bad teachers, like any school.
