The principal is not a leader everyone just has their own rules and she hires enough friends so they say she is doing good and they say she needs a raise. We lost 14 families in 2013 I see more leaving.

The reason they have a low turnover on teachers is because they let bad teachers stay. The principle is afraid to do anything about it, so the children suffer with a miserable teacher for the entire school year. It really hurts the attitude of the students. The only reason someone would drive by other schools to go to WCCS is because they already tried the other school and it either "didn't work out" or the child was asked to leave that school.

Many of our families drive past other schools, even other parochial schools, just so they can send their children to Westside Catholic. Our school is worth it. Our staff has low turnover, and they really know the children, which helps them teach to their individual needs. This year we began providing both resource and advanced-placement instruction, an advantage only available at 3 Evansville-area parochial schools, and we are the only one on the west side with this program. We received an "A" rating for the 2012-2013 school year.

We (as well as many other families) drive out of our way to send our kids to this wonderful school located on Evansville's westside. My children have attended the Sacred Heart preschool and are now in elementary school classes at the St. Agnes Campus. We've had nothing but great experiences along the way. Small class sizes, caring & experienced teachers, significant & postive parent involvement and open-minded families & staff that come together to create a supportive and nurturing environment for all students.

Caring teachers. Small class sizes promote individualized attention and development. Great parents who are involved in supporting the school and the kids. My husband loves booster club--and they do a lot of good work for the kids. (I.e., we don't have to pay any fees for school sports because of booster club support). Great value for a Catholic education.

We have had our children here for a long time. we were very upset when they let Mrs Mesker go because of money problems. She had been there a long time and she was a good catholic teacher. We cant trust the school now. Who will they let go next and Why????? We have our doubts about how Catholic it is also. Why would you ever let a good catholic teacher go that loved children and was there maybe around 30 years.

We have been with Westside Catholic for the last 13 years and couldn't be more pleased. As my children progressed to high school, they were extremely prepared to take on the challenges there. Westside Catholic offers years of teacher experience with involved parents to make it a win-win situation.

This preschool is the best kept secret in Evansville! Great teachers who offer an age appropriate curriculum.
