I attended Concordia High School as did my 2 sisters. We were very adequately prepared for college and scored well above the public schools in ISTEP, and SAT's. Very good school. I plan to send my future children here because there is no comparison to public schools academically.

I think that Concordia is a well organized school for not only the christian faith but also teaching people to be prepared for college

Concordia prepares students very well for college. I was better prepared for college and do better than my public school counterparts. Some of the teachers are extremely brilliant minds. It also prepares people to defend the faith against the many skeptics. The guidence department is subpar and did not send in my test scores to colleges I applied to. Much of the faculty also has a very obvious conservative bias.

I have found, that at my first few weeks at Concordia High school have been so fun and encoraging. Yeah, I had quite a few friends in gradeschool, but at Concordia there are so many cool nice Christian people to choose from. The classes I'm taking are great, and I am forcing myself to work hard and learn as much as I can from the excellent teachers. At lunch the table I sit at is so full of people and everyone is nice to everyone. On Friday we even invited a boy who was sitting by himself to join us. The classes are great, the people are great, and the staff is awesome. I couldn't wish for a more tremendous high school.

I am very happy overall with Concordia, however, my son had one teacher who embarrassed the kids for what he perceived as a lack of intelligence and/or physical strength. He's not an academic teacher so I guess we'll just chalk it up to knowing that in life you have to deal with people who put others down to make themselves feel better. Other than that one teacher, our experience has been outstanding. I highly recommend Concordia. Every other teacher has been much more caring, involved and concerned about the students academic performance and also their development as a person.

As a former student of this high school, I felt academically prepared for higher education. The majority of the staff was caring and helpful. However, there were a few teachers who were disappointing by their lack of Christian character and moral. Some teachers ridiculed students and one gave in to threats made by parents. Parents need to realize that the atmosphere among students at this school is no different than that of public schools. Students face the same problems, challenges, and difficulties.
