This is a great school with teachers and staff that really care! This school is not only academically ahead of where my boy was at his public school but he has become a great young man of God! This school trains the whole individual and most importantly my kid loves it!

Home away from home.... Central has been a home away from home for our 3 kids. We have been with Central for 7 years. We love the fact that we as parents can get involved and be apart of their education. The teachers and principal care about the kids education. We appreciate the weekly class updates that we get from our first grade teacher. It' nice to know what your kids are being taught through the week so we as parents can focus on those items as well. Central has been a blessing for our family!!

We feel so blessed to have a school like Central to send our daughter to, it gives us such a peace of mind to know that she is being taught at school the same things she is being taught at home. Our daughter is in kindergarten and I'm amazed at how much she is learning, she loves school. I feel we have an excellent support system at CCS . Thank you Dr. Jeanne Zehr, pastor Rick, teachers, & staff for all the heart and energy you put into this school!

Central Christian School has a nurturing, caring staff. The teachers challenge the students academically, and more importantly, they challenge the sutdents to walk out their Christian faith. Our daughter will graduate from the 8th grade this year and has been at Central since kindergarten. We are so thankful God led us to this wonderful school.

I am accountable for the education my son receives and take this aspect of his life very seriously. This is the most important time of his life and it will have a large part in the man that he becomes. I am thrilled to say that my confidence in the wonderful staff at Central Christian School, Fort Wayne is off the charts. My son loves his teachers, the Principal and Pastor Rick. I believe that these people are tuned into the kind of seeds they are sowing and the significance they hold for our future. I am thankful for the dedication and love they pour into my son. He is learning very quickly all the academic tools required to succeed in the world, but more importantly he is learning the character and faith required to succeed as a man after God's own Heart.

My kids have been attending Central Christian for many years. The people are wonderful and the education is of the highest quality. My kids don't ever want to miss going to school, even for snow!

I have two kids that attend CCS, 1 for 6 years and the other one for 3 years. I can't say enough good things about it. The things that they are learning academically has really impressed me. And the fact that Biblical principles are a huge part of everything that they do is very important to our family. We have truly been blessed! Both of our kid have thoroughly enjoyed their experiences there so far. The teachers have a heart to see the kids excel academically and as a well grounded young person of faith. Our youngest will be starting there next year in their pre-k class. Love it!

Central Christian School provides a safe and healthy environment for my children to learn. The teachers and staff stress academic achievment as well as teaching Biblical truths through love, patience, and a passion for Christ. (1 John 4:19)

This is the second year that our son has attended Central Christian school and the first for our daughter. This school every day enriches their lives! The teachers and staff are outstanding and their love of Christ shines in everything that they do. If you are looking for a great school that will instill Christian values and support the work you do at home to raise Godly children in an ungodly world, look no further. Central is the place for you!

I have several children attending central and I could not be happier. Central Christian is a very warm and loving enviroment for learning. The Christ centered education is second to none. The principal and staff truly care about the childrens education, and more importantly, their walk with the Lord.

This school is like any other, has good and bad, teachers and student. Nothing outstanding. Really liked the principle, though the teachers and especially the secretary had way too much influence over him. Way too many parents involved. LOL If you can believe that. Pulled our kids out after 2 yrs.

What a huge blessing it is to have CCS be a place where my children can grow and learn about Christ and academics hand in hand. Wonderful teachers who care and the staff is super!

Nothing but praises for this school! Low student to teacher ratio gives each child the attention they need. Teachers and staff teach and live Christian values. We love watching the school/children grow and prosper.

This is a terrific school! The teaching staff is top notch and our family loves it! God is really working in this school - you can see it every day in how the staff teach the children spiritually, academically and socially! As parents of 2 students at CCS, we stand behind the school and it's staff 110%! May God bless them and their work!

Above
average

Our rating (from 1 to 10) reflects a school's overall performance. The higher the rating, the more likely the school will prepare your child for the future, so choose an above-average school (8-10) if possible. For average schools (4-7), do careful research and look for evidence that the school has high-quality programs. For below-average schools (1-3), take caution; a low-performing school may not provide the instruction or environment your child needs to learn, and you may need to supplement classroom lessons at home.

Academic rating

The academic rating is made up of equally-weighted parts: students' test scores, their academic growth (for elementary and middle schools) and their readiness for college (for high schools). The graphs below compare this school's results in each area to other schools in the city and state. Growth and college readiness ratings are coming soon, pending publication of 2012 data.
