I have a 4th grader in this school that came from Bunche. This school is great and a perfect fit for her. As someone that was diagnosed with PDD-NOS during her first school year routine is very important to her and they know this and prepare her for sudden changes that may come. I at one point removed her thinking homeschooling would be best and boy was I wrong..they quickly let me place her back which was shocking since they have a pretty good size waiting list. The only complaint I have is that after 30 years there's still no air conditioner and it's HOT upstairs. Other than that this school is perfect...smallish, clean, and tons of parent involvement.
This is a school that focuses on nurturing and developing the 'whole' child...one that respects himself, others and the environment; they strive to teach the child to take accountability for their own education...rather than a child that can simply score high on standardized tests.
It's a great school where kids learn at their own pace and still learn lots! and have fun doing so.
