My children have always needed somewhere to excel, and Imagine Master Academy have given them that opportunity. Plus, the school has let my daughter thrive in a zero-tolerance environment where she is not afraid to be herself and has let her explore the different athletic opportunities she is interested in. Other schools have tried to hold her back because of her learning style, but IMA embracing everything about her and is only helping her learn new ways to tackle school work.

We first moved to Ft Wayne when our son was about to start school for the first time. We weren't thrilled with any of our options until we found Imagine Master Academy. Our son has been at Imagine two and a half years now. He's loved each of his teachers. He does well scholastically, but they have also challenged him to do better. I like having a school uniform. I appreciate that they instill a sense of responsibility in the kids. Any calls/emails I have made to his teachers have been responded to promptly. I also like that there is a background check on any parents who volunteer. They offer a hot or cold lunch - my son likes having that option. Really good place!

The was out top choice for our daughter and we are glad we made the decision to send her there!! Everyday she comes home and tells us how wonderful it is there and how excited she is to return that next day! love all the people there and assistance they have to offer to her and our family!! wouldn't change our minds if you were to put money on it! #1 choice in Fort Wayne!

My son has gone to Imagine Master Academy since the first year it opened, 4 yrs ago. He is now in the fourth grade and excelling in all areas. We could not be happier with our choice. Thank you to all the teachers and administrator for all that you do!!!

I really wish all schools would start dropping kids that have no interest in learning at all. Stop wasting resources on them and concentrate on the ones that have their priorities straight.

This school was a God Send for my son and a wonderful start for my daughter. The "grouping" approach is made it possible for my daughter to not get board with "teach to the average student" of most schools. I was told by a different school that my son would slip through the cracks and never catch up in his reading. Well 3 years at Imagine and he as caught up and now he is excelling! The only reason I didn't give the school 5 stars is because of it's lack of after school activities and the school board leadership is lacking. Not perfect but I would not send my children anywhere else!

I found this school to be absolutely terrible and detrimental to my children's education. The academic programs are a complete joke. The teachers and staff members treated my children as if they were less than people.

We did not like how our children were being educated at this school. There was way too much of a 'grouping' approach and 'group mentality' to how they were being taught. In our opinion, this school needs to show more interest in the individual student and not a collective borg.....

I looked at Private schools and public schools when deciding where to send my son..I found Imagine....my dreams come true! Show me where else a school teaches 1.25 years in a year and incorperates 6 pillars of pure awesomeness! Could not be more pleased!

We were told by another school corporation that due to our daughters disabilities she would have difficulty reading, if she could at all. We were also told that due to her disabilities she should be in a special ed classroom all day. After one year at Imagine she is reading above what was expected and is in a regular classroom all day. Imagine is the best choice for our family.

We used to homeschool to be sure that our daughter could be challenged. Imagine does it so well and teaches her moral and character as well.

Nothing but love for Imagine MASTer Academy. Compared to the negative experience we had at FWCC, this school is golden! They encourage positive behaviors in a way that makes the children feel empowered.

I had high hopes when I sent my son to Imagine Master Academy. I had no idea that it would surpass my expectations in so many ways! He is finally being challenged academically. The faculty and staff at Imagine are wonderful! We are very happy with our decision to send our son here!

average

Our rating (from 1 to 10) reflects a school's overall performance. The higher the rating, the more likely the school will prepare your child for the future, so choose an above-average school (8-10) if possible. For average schools (4-7), do careful research and look for evidence that the school has high-quality programs. For below-average schools (1-3), take caution; a low-performing school may not provide the instruction or environment your child needs to learn, and you may need to supplement classroom lessons at home.

Academic rating

The academic rating is made up of equally-weighted parts: students' test scores, their academic growth (for elementary and middle schools) and their readiness for college (for high schools). The graphs below compare this school's results in each area to other schools in the city and state. Growth and college readiness ratings are coming soon, pending publication of 2012 data.
