Southwick Elementary School

Mrs Zehr no longer Principal. School is over crowded Next to NO parent involvment, only 3-4 parents trying to do everything what a shame. Teachers are still great but being overburdened with all the ESL students

I think the staff is awsome. My daughter does wonderful there and the cirriculum is great. I just wish the school was a little bit more 'racially balanced'.

My child was transferred to this school last year. The teachers and staff brought my child's self-steam from a low one to a high one and she loves school. I got my other daughter transferred out of our home school to go to this one because the staff believes in education like I do. They use the 4 step program which is wonderful. I use it at home so that the school and I are working together. The 4 step program I feel helps the child have more respect for their elders, others, and themselves. Mrs. Zehr is a principal you always dreamed of having as a child. This school makes learning fun and the kids get rewarded for good behavior, following directions and for a job well done. You will not be sorry if you send your child to this school. Southwick Elementary is the best!

The parents and staff work together. I have seen big turn arounds with the students over the last 3 years. The staff is great to work with.

The staff at Southwick is working hard to educate the children. They want the school negative stimga about the ISTEP score to be a thing of the past. I really love the Mrs. Zehr and her awesome staff.
