I love Garrett High School, for the simple fact I walk down the hallways and I think to myself I know these people, I have seen all these people before. At Garrett, you can walk in and be yourself, you walk into open arms. A family school we have been called, because we, the students are on such friendly terms with one another it makes the school year twice as great. Another amazing thing about Garrett High is how we treat every art of our school fairy. From our hard playing football players to our intelligent spell team members, no one is left out here. Garrett High is molding me into the young adult I have wanted so badly to become. Here, they prepare you for what will be expected later on in life. This high school is honestly the best I have ever heard of.

Personally, I ,as a parent of Tyler Barrientes, beleive GHS is amazing! His astronomy teacher is just the greatest! I am actually very surprised that he is even a teacher there! Thats just how good Mr. Alan M. Bobalik is!

This is a great school from top to bottom...academics to sports excellence! As a former student, I firmly believe the administration in this school implements the highest standards and thrive to get the most of out of each student. With decisions mostly contested by students they make choices based upon what is best for the student not what is most convenient.

This school is really small and has the tendency to blow things way out of proportion. I like larger schools, the people are friendly and the staff dosent get into your personal business like its their job to know about your personal life history and problems. Teachers are teachers, not a richeous judgement on what kind of person I am.

I think Garrett is a wonderful school. When we moved here from Angola due to a devorce the school stepped right in and help my child cope. When his grades started slipping they called me right in and my child was saved. He is now in high school and doing very well and is a very active student thanks to all the suport and understanding they gave my child.I have also noticed that it isnt all about the rich kids as it was in Angola. All chidren seem to be treated fairly and it reflects back on the kids. They dont seem to make fun of children with disibilities as they did in Angola.I recomend this school system to all I talk to.It is the best!

I have had two sons attend GHS, my second is now a senior. I found that the teachers were both helpful and caring in many different situations. It has been a great comfort to know that both the teachers and the administration are willing to 'go the extra mile' for their students. I have expierenced that when parents and students take an active roll in their high school, they get the most out of public education. Our administrators are open to parent and student involement, as well as community involement. We are a Character Counts! school and that is the next best thing to posting the 10 commandments. Our oldest son is in college and our second son is looking forward to studying elementary education. We hope that he will someday be an G-K-B educator. Alternative school is not a adjective for better, it is sometimes the alternative to incarceration. Communities make better schools.

Garrett is one of the best schools I have ever seen. Smaller classes give you more one on one time with teachers and therefor more help. Everyone gets along and people don't get singled out. Not to mention the athletic programs are outstanding, I would recommend Garrett School's to anyone.

This school is the lowest! Teachers are accusing kids of cheating on homework and when told it isn't true they yell harassment and file felony charges against their students. My oldest son asked a teacher to be nicer to another student who was accused of cheating on his homework, given a '0' and didn't want to go back to school, he was very depressed. The teacher started yelling at my child who turned around and walked away. They have filed intimidation felony charges against my son. Alot of the students are leaving this school and going to the alternative school in Auburn which is a much better school. The students are treated very fairly at the Alternative school. I have taken both my children out of Garrett Schools. I now pay tuition but at least now I know they won't be harassed and treated unfairly.
