The school tries, but the parents are not involved and it seems they don't care. The parents are rude and ghetto and some of the help working at the school are rude and ghetto as well. The teachers spend more time disciplining the kids instead of teaching. The faculty does not work together, and conversations that can always be overheard, are personal and a lot of petty bickering about who does what and who doesn't like who. The school as a whole is one I guess you can expect of Gary Public schools but it has the potential to be better. The school is a brand new building with many untapped possibilities. Unfortunately they have yet to find their foot hold to make them great.
Our mission is to inspire and support families to champion their children's education - at
school, at home and in their community. We are a national non-profit with offices and programs
in Oakland, Milwaukee, Washington D.C. and Indianapolis.
