Wow, that's all I can say! After moving from a fairly large school to this very close-knit community, I couldn't wait to have my children enrolled in the school system. I couldn't be more disappointed. 1) The principal seems to be lacking the capabilities necessary for her job title when dealing personally with the children and also dealing with the parents 2)There is a huge lack of organization and policy 3)Poor communication between the school system and parents Hamilton Elementary really needs to get their act together, I don't see this school surviving very long at the rate they are going. Please for the sake of all our children, do what is necessary to make this work. Please take a good look at your policies, your staff overall and make some changes. This is NOT the warm, friendly, safe environment that I could not wait for my children to be in.

My kids just started going to Hamilton. My 7th grader is doing great. I also have a 5th grader who used to get all A's she brought home her first F she is so up-set. I think she will be going back to her old school. The home work for her is atleast 2 hours a night. Our kids spend all day at school they should not have to come home and spend there whole night doing homework. I am a unhappy parent.

Hamilton Elementary School is a great small school with big school goals and aspirations. The Principal is very interested the success every child in her school. She has implemented many programs to get the community, staff, parents, and students involved in the school. For a small there are alot of activites for the students to participate in such as spell bowl, math bowl, writer's workshope, partners in print, family game night, boys and girls basketball, band, school fundraising and contests, letters to soldiers and much more. Parents are invited to come to the school to visit and see there childs classroom. The principal encourages parent involvement at all levels. So, if your looking for a small enviroment with a big school ideas look no further. The staff at all levels makes you feel like you are a part of the family. Please come see be part of a great school.
