I trransferred my children for many reasons, I have been delighted how they fit in. The teaching staff has been helpful and eventhough my kids left the school they had been raised in they have found a home at this school. The administration has been extremely helpful in preparing my kids for the next step.

I am still learning about the Jr/Sr High school, policies, rules, protocol etc.... but from what I have experienced it seems they are all about the children and how they can provide a well rounded curriculum to each child as they need it. I understand Hamilton is still struggling to get funding, stronger in the academics but you see in the Elementary and JR/SR High School that it is trying to create better education for our children. .

I'm not to empressed with this school, once a kid is labeled bad,it seems the staff gives up on them, makes it totally their resposble for all their school stuff, even when they don't understand & got a learning problem, very little feed back from teachers, they don't let you know that your child is doing poorly until you get their progress report in the mail, why wait 4 weeks to let you know the child is getting all f's in class, wheres the phone call, emails, ext.why do they pass a student to the next grade with F's now my child needs to many credits and will not be able to graduate with his class,no comunication from this school, and the money use it for new books & programs for the students, not everyone can afford all cost, kids can't go to games & support their school.

My children went to Hamilton School for 1 year. I moved them out of the district for a variety of reasons.Staff seemed to be blindsided to the number of problems that exist with the children. The principal is great with kids.

I like Hamilton School. We have limited funds and do the best we can with them. The quality of the academic programs are getting better with every year. Due to smaller funds every year, we have cut, then reinstated many extracurricular activities so we may not always offer every program their is. We do try to offer what the majority wants. The parents are very involved with the schools everyday life. As a parent myself I support my child's activities.
