Intimate, attentive, academically and behaviorly enriching, this school packs a power punch for education. Initially, I had one child in attendance. AODC provided a wonderful opportunity for my child to expand his mind intellectually, his heart socially, and his soul spiritually without placing undue restrictions on his age. The curriculum and educational foundation was so sturdy that despite staffing problems initially, my son had a great experience and showed remarkable confidence and academic prowess. The experience was so great that I enrolled a second son into the school. His experience last year was a repeat of excellence. Both of my sons are academically strong and I think the environment that does not inhibit their growth potential is the best for them. Kudos to the administration and staff for being a God-send.

AODC Christian Academy is an excellent school! My children have been with them for 12 years. The staff, Principal and Assistant Principal are very kind and patient to all. They are always willing to talk listen and pray with and for all the chidren. The environment is safe and when i've had money issues in the past the Assistant Principal have always worked with me as well as with my friend. i wouldn't have it any way else and i love the one on one attention in the classrooms that is received. I highly recommend this school to anyone.

I have a child who attends this school and I would recommend it to any and all parents looking for their child to learn academics. The school, from the administration down to the teachers believes that each child is a 'child of destiny' that can do all things through Christ which strengthens them. This is not just words. I have personally seen how they have taken time with each child to ensure they are learning the material. They have patience, understanding, and most of all a passion for our youth. I read the other review and just had to comment because it is not what I have experienced. As the grades go higher, there are less children, so they must combine some grades, which helps them because it they get more one on one time. It also prepares the lower grade for the work they will be doing next year. Mrs. Wolfe

I'm writing this review to inform parents about this wonderful school. My son has been attending this school since Kindergarden. When he was in first grade I pulled him out due to financial reasons. That year he attended public school. That was the Biggest mistake; I made when it comes to my son's education. My son's knowledge from attending AODC Christian Academy couldn't compare to this school. My son was too advance for his class. Therefore I returned to AODC Christian Academy the following year. I'm very satisfied with this schools level of education as well as all the staff.... My son will continue his education at ADOC Christian Academy until he finishes eigth grade! :)

I would not recommend this school. The classrooms are small and dingy. Too many grades are combined. Therefore the teachers are teaching two lessons in the class which can be confusing for the kids. Very unorganized not enough structure for the children. Kids are not getting the educatuion that they pose that they are giving. They talk nice but not getting the quality education for your money. They have issues with keeping their teachers. Poorly staffed. I hate to be sound negative but as a parent I feel I should point out all the issues to help another parent make a more informed decision.

Pros The school uses the A-Beka curriculum which works well with the students, especially primary grades. Class sizes are small so teachers have a chance to work one on one with students. Cons The office is hardly ever staffed and there is usually no one around that can answer questions. The administration seems to be primarily concerned with collecting tuition payments as opposed to being dedicated to the overall development of children. There are no extracurricular activities. Everything is very last minute: they are horrible at getting information to parents regarding special events, activities, field trips and school closings. They also have poor bookkeeping practices. The only positive thing I can say about this school is that the academic instruction is very strong. However, administrative issues and poor management skills overshadows anything academically the school has to offer. I would not recommend this school.
