I truely feel that George Earle is not a good school! The teachers are not concerned enough! When there is a child who us struggling, he/she will be put on the back burner! As with the case of my son, he was LABELED by the George Earle staff therefore, they definitely do not give him any time or help. Once your child is labeled by non-medical professionals, it is ever so hard to have that name removed. As far as the academics goes, if you get it, good for you! If you don't, then you just won't!!!! I would not recommend this school to ANYONE especially a minority student!!!! Another thing is that they only work with the studentd that do not need the help. If you are a child that really needs the help YOU WILL NOT GET IT!!!!!!

I like the principal and she is always willing to sit down and talk to the parents if there is a concern. However, some of the teachers are quick to give up on a student if they start to struggle. They don't want to take the extra time to help them. I understand there are others kids in the class so as a parent, I also help my child at home. I feel that with parent involvement and a good teacher, a struggling student should be able to improve. That was not the case with my child. The transition from first to second grade is the key area. A lot of students get held back every year and have to take first grade over. What can this school do different moving forward to have a higher passing rate?

I have had two children attend George Earle and I currently have one enrolled. From my experience I believe they are a great example of what a elementary school should be.The teacher's are passionate about what they do and how they teach. They bring out the best in each child. Teaching is one of the hardest professions and many times teacher's don't get the recognition they deserve. thank you to the teacher's at George Earle for being a partner in education !!

This is not a good school at all, we would not recommend this school to any minority students. The principal is not understanding, and not willing to help out. They need to develop an after school program to help the parents who are working hard to make an earnest living.
