My daughter just finished FCPA last year and is currently at New Augusta North. We were thrilled with the educational experience that she received. The creative projects and activities that drives their instruction is beyond compare. She was always ready to go to school and was sad when she graduated. The school also stresses life skills and student responsibility. She loved working as a junior librarian and being on the news crew. An incredible school with incredible teachers!

My son has attended Fishback from grades K-3. Although the school has mixed age ranges in the classroom, his teachers have kept him challenged when he has become more advanced in some topic areas. The school is very diverse and has lots to offer for extracurricular activities. We've been involved with boyscouts, taekwondo, chess club, percussion and other grade level events that the school has sponsored from year to year. Parents are very involved at the school which is highly encouraged, and everyone knows my child's name. We will be relocating to Chicago and will dearly miss the Fishback family.

The teachers and adminstration are very good. They encourage a lot of parent involvment. The student body is very diverse. Some of the children are a bit rough and undisciplined which takes up some of the teaching time for discipline. The facilities are new and very nice. There are many computers for the students. They have an array of extracurricular activities that are very good. For example, spanish, chess club, piano and percussion instruction.

My daughter, Natalie is in the 4th grade. She has always had trouble learning in some areas but is very bright... In her other school her other teachers would just offer tutoring and no solution or try to help Natalie except money out of pocket for tutoring from the teacher that made no difference at all... This year she has the most outstanding, caring, hardworking teacher I have ever seen... She not only has filled out forms, but has involved a large number of staff or help us all determine what should be done next to help Natalie. What has been ignored by the other school was taken with open arms by fishback and now we are finding answers and open doors. We were on a waiting list for 3 years to get in. It was well worth it. I just wish my son was given the same chance and teacher.communication!

Compared to other schools the school needs to prepare the students better for istep. Our child said preparing for istep at Fishback was rushed through, and now she does not feel those pressures or feel rushed in her new school. They need to bring home more books. Compared to alot of the suburb township schools, Fishback has a lot of work overall. We will not say all the teachers are bad. We did not realize how much our child was lacking until she place in a totally different school district and school. Now are child is performing even better and learning much at a four star school. Which Fishback is not.

I love this school. I love these teachers. My daughter has been at Fishback for two years now. The staff is very friendly and genuinely cares for your children. Uniforms are also a big help.
