I have had problems at this school with my children being picked on. We don't have alot of money so we can't afford to buy 200.00 shoes. So my children are made to feel bad because of this and other things. This is sad because Warren is a outstanding school community.

okay, so parents have been posting what they think of creston on here. To those who think its a bad school. You are waaaaay off. How about you go to creston before typing a dumb review that isnt even true. The teachers do have control of there classrooms and most of the teachers are incredible. Teachers dont put their 'personal feelings' in when dealing with a student. I am a straight a student who has been in the top ten every year and I have had no problem with creston. Our choir is one of the best in our districts, our athletics are amazing. If your child doesnt like creston its probably because they aren't social and they have no clue whats going on. Also, the parents who are saying that 'the school doesnt fit the slogan; your wrong. People need to give creston a chance. It isnt bad at all.

I am a parent of an 8th grader 2008-2009 school year. I will tell you that this school has provided me with so much support and understanding with my trials and tribulations dealing with my son! I would recommend this school 100% to anyone who wants to be involved in there childs education for a better future! This school is where it is at! The staff is above awsome and they make you feel comfortable and wanted! Thanks Creston Middle School Staff you are far more Superior than you are given credit for!

Creston Middle school is a great middle school. They have many extracurricular activities and wonderful teachers. Even though one of the best teachers there(Mrs. schneider) is leaving us today, we will still be the best middle school ever. since i'm a student there I know this.

I am a 6th grader at Creston and I got to go to leadership camp before school started. All of the teachers were so nice and friendly. When school started our teachers helped us kids to learn evrything about our new school again. I am really happy to here. My team is nice and I am already learning alot.

I am a firm believer that education is what you make of it. My kids love Creston. They work hard and really try to do what is expected. It is middle school and that means it is the most difficult time of their lives. Yes, they have had teachers that I felt could have and should have done better. However, most of their teachers are really making a difference in their education - my kids are thriving. I wish that more parents could be involved, but understandably sometimes that is hard. We are a school where parents work long and hard hours. I ask my kids all the time if they feel safe and they say they do. My son also has felt extremely prepared for high school. I do not feel that Creston is meeting the needs of majority of the students. Teachers are constantly yelling at the students and have little or no control over their classrooms! The students are not in a conducive learning environment, and there are far too many teachers who inject their personal feelings when dealing with students. Many of the children I speak with feel that the teachers and Administration are not doing a good job of treating everyone with the same level of fairness. Disciplinary actions are inconsistent, and far too many teachers are 'getting away' with ill behavior. I have personally brought several issues to the attention of the Administration, yet, there is no resolution. My child is in 6th grade and is wanting to return to the Charter School system, which in my opinion, has faired far better than Creston. 'The best middle school' slogan does not fit!

I feel like the teachers should be just that (teachers)and remember that kids can see when they are not being treated fairly. There are teachers there that put their own personal feelings about a child in front of teaching and being a good example.Also there isn't much consideration or thought for the student when picking experiensed, knawledgable and fair coaches.

I am a former student at Creston. I think that Creston needs more extracurricular activities. Students need to broaden their horizons, and they cannot do so, if the only activites that are taking place, are the state requirements. Teachers need not put their hands on students, even if they are trying to hurry them to class. If a student is talking outside of a classroom, and is late, it is their fault. A teacher, principal etc. should not act as the students' parent, but should act like a teacher, principal etc. Middle school should be a fun and learning experience. When I was going to Creston, I did not have fun, because there were hardly any hands on activities, I was mainly getting lectured. I will say that I had some nice and fun teachers that made learning fun, and I thank them. I will not forget Creston, though.
