My son has been at this school since first grade (he's now a Junior) and we love it. He has received a wonderful education. The teachers have been great. The environment is wonderful. If you are looking for a quality, well rounded education, you should check this school out further.

This is a wonderful school which opens up the world to Midwestern students. The emphasis on immersion in the early grades compliments that High School philosophy of IB for all. This builds a strong community that provides and unique and excellent educational environment for all students.

This is a school with teachers that clearly care about the students and are doing work that they love. They model the behavior and in turn, the students have the same caring attitude toward each other. The academics are rigorous; the classes are interactive vs. lectures. There is a 'no cut' policy for sports and students are encouraged to try something new.

I sent in this comment in feb. Before this website broke the listing for this school by grade, so i'm updating it a bit. My daughter has been at isi for 8 years [since 3rd grade] and i think the school is tremendous. I believe that learning a second language before age 10 is one skill [essential in the global marketplace] that will remain throughout life. I also believe that early second language acquisition changes a student's outlook on life. The high school international baccalaureate program is rigourous, but all students work through it together -- sort of a trial by fire. Real critical thinking is needed. Ib prepares them for college and beyond; some graduates receive almost 2 semesters worth of college credit. This year the students placed first [istep] or near the top [sats] in the entire state on these important exams. Clearly, they are doing something right.
