This school is extremely unstable and had a large staff turn over. Lots of discipline problems. It sounds great in the ads and in theory, but over all not a good school. Students are not prepared for the future especially in history and english.
My sixth child attends this school. His five older siblings attended the much larger public high school nearby. I've known a lot of schools, educators, administrators and guidance counselors over the years, and the faculty and staff at Lawrence Early College are far and away the best I have had the pleasure of knowing. There should be a long ine of students and parents outside the school, pleading to be admitted.
Mrs. Harmless is just great. She has proven over and over again that she is genuinely concerned about my son's health, well being, and academic career. Not only do they support him, but they support me as a parent as well. I am very pleased with this experience... two years in.
