Challenge Foundation Academy (CFA) is an exceptional A++ school that deserves recognition for the excellent education that it provides. CFA genuinely cares about the education that each scholar receives at this school. I would recommend CFA to anyone.

Challenge Foundation Academy is such an amazing school. The teachers, administrative staff, even the janitor the whole entire school is just great. When I First Brought my son to this school, he was having some behavior challenges, as soon as he started going to this school his behavior started to change tremendously. The PTO is even awesome. Now, all Three of my children attend this great school. I could not ask for a better support system. I am so thankful, and greatful for being a proud parent of the worlds greatest school CHALLENGE FOUNDATION ACADEMY.

My oldest daughter attended CFA from 2006-2010. I loved this school so much that now have 3 other children attending the school, a 2nd, 4th and 5th grader. Everyone I run into that have school age children, I tell them about CFA. From the teachers to the CORE Knowledge learning system, impressed me. The teachers are so caring and go above and beyond to teach, love and care for our children. It really feels like a family. My 5th grader is working on a 6th and 7 grade level. They continue to push her to make sure she remains challenged and keeps her on a steady path of learning. Children needing extra help the make sure they get the assistance needed such as reading and math tutoring. They also offer multiple extra curricular activities such as basketball, soccer, volleyball training, garden on the go. They even offer Parent University for the parents to explain the life of the CFA student, the curriculum and keep us posted as to what goes on daily with the school. I love CFA and if I could I'd expand it throughout our communities because our children and families deserve to be apart a family that expands beyond their home address.

Avondale Meadows Academy, formerly the Challenge Foundation Academy, has been a light to the Avondale Meadows Community. The school offers rigorous academics, a loving environment and more after school activities than any other school I've been a part of. Being in the building is a pleasure and I always feel "at home."

I absolutely love Challenge Foundation Academy! My daughter is in kindergarten and both of her teachers Ms. Morgan and Ms. Larkin are excellent teachers! I was referred by one of my family members who's child also attends CFA. The curriculum that they teach their students is phenomenal! My daughter which is in kindergarten is already doing fractions in her math lessons and I remember when I was her age we wasn't doing fractions not until 3rd or 4th grade! I recommend this school to anyone looking for a college bound school and that's willing for his or child to learn.

CFA is absolutely the best. In addition to education they are also about family. My family experienced a few challenges and they made sure my child received the additional support needed to further ensure his success during our family transition. They communicate well and they honestly believe in every child that enters their facility. I will forever love, admire and support CFA!!

I have been an educator for 37 years both in Pennsylvania and in Indiana. I am very impressed with this school organization from the active PTO, caring administration, visionary board of directors, talented staff to the energetic students. The test scores steadily rise, the extracurricular educational opportunities multiply and tutorial programs for reading and mathematics are filled throughout the academic year with a summer program available as well. The school has a growing sports program for children of both genders and from all grade levels Academic enrichment classes started up this year for grades 2-5. I join with the state board of education in rating this educational organization a 5 star rating!.

Challenge Foundation Academy, now known as Avondale Meadows Academy ("AMA") due to a name change, is a unique academy that strives to prepare its students for college. The majority of the students would not make it to college based on the underprivileged nature of their backgrounds. The amount of attention that the students command, and more importantly receive, from AMA's faculty is inspiring. This claim of inspiration does not derive from judging comparative schools' testing scores or curriculums, but rather by the dedication and extraordinary time commitment that I've witnessed put forth by faculty members. I've witnessed them staying late and arriving early to give individual instruction to those that need it. I've witnessed them work nonstop through weekends, perfecting and tweaking lesson plans year after year, a process of continuous improvement though they have taught those same lessons for several years. They want every student to get the maximum benefit from every second they are in the classroom. It's still not enough, but not for lack of effort. They still need as many resources as they can get. I have no doubt AMA increases the students' chances of success.

I LOVE CHALLENGE FOUNDATION ACADEMY!!!! This is my granddaughters first year at CFA (2nd grade). We love it! They are always so nice and helpful. She has been on High Honor Roll (straight A's) since the beginning of school and is already reading at a 3rd grade level. I like that they are very involved with each and every child. EVERY morning (without fail, even in the cold) someone from the staff is outside the school to greet all the students...that is GREAT. My granddaughter WANTS and LOVES to go to school each and everyday. Thank you CFA Staff & Teachers.

I have two children who attend CFA and have attended since Kindgarten. The school is an extremely positive and nurting place for students. My children are performing well above grade level and the teachers continue to push them to maximize their potential. CFA has an Enrichment program during the school day for students who are above grade level in reading in addition to the many clubs, enrichment opportunities and sports offered after school.

My son is in the special education program and speech therapy. He is 6years old and in Kindergarten. All of the teachers are positive, polite, and so helpfull. My son is caucasion and about 98% of the school is african american or mixed. So he stands out in the crowd needless to say. With that said he is comfortable and welcomed in this school by the students and teachers. He is learning so much and is very excited to go every day. The classes are alittle crowded with about 25+ kids in each room. The school is clean but they do have too many things cluttering up the hallways so it makes the school look disorganized and cluttered. The classrooms are nicely decorated for learning and spacious. Overall I love that my son has the oppertunity to go to this school and I would highly recomend this school to everyone!

I love this school. I had a daughter 2 nephews and 2 neices that attended and all the children exceled here. My oldest nephew graduated 5th grade here with A's and B's and he was struggling at other schools. my neice and younger nephews both had IEP"s and the special education teachers helped them excel. This year all the children will be return with the exception of the nephew who graduated 5th grade but I will have another neice starting Kindergarten and I know all the children will do excellent again. I'm looking forward to the great things I know this school will offer.

I have two sons currently enrolled here. I am very sad to have to search somewhere else for schooling but it's due to my oldest moving on to the 6th grade. Every year I recieved a great teacher and seen the academic excellence put into my children as well as required from the teachers. My son is moving on only because of the support, care, and concern for my childs education from the entire staff! I am a proud CFA parent!
