this school has not been looked at closely enough.. There are many wonderful teachers and programs that arnt usually recognized and Carole Wilson is the force behind them. There is a wonderful recognition and attention to each students needs that she demonstrates that is a rarity with a principal. She has orchestrated classes suited to individual students that might be accelerated and acknowledges their special gifts and works diligently with their teachers, to help them excel. There are many programs after school that were implemented by Jenny Jessup and Jessica Beyerline to help improve the morale and physical fitness of children, both which are very positive . They are geared towards movement whether walking, or running, and some are even training for a local marathon!! The students at Clarence Farrington are given not just a "book education" according to state mandates.. but a lifeskills one as well. They should be highly commended on the wonderful job that they are doing.. I think they are a wonderful and AWESOME elementary schoo!!!

Clarence Farrington School#61 is a great school!!! My oldest son went there for 5 years and is in AP classes at Harshman Middle School and he wouldn't be there without the help of the wonderful staff at #61. My youngest son has attended there since 2012 and has done nothing but exceeded the standards! I give praise to the hard work the Teachers and Staff have to do daily, and the rift-raft they receive on the other end also!

I appreciate the way my student is taught and the way the teacher communicates with her students. Above all, I appreciate the teacher's patience and the different learning tricks and techniques that my daughter has been taught. Me gusta la forma de ense ar a los alumnus y la comunicacion de maestro a alumnos. Sobre todo, la paciencia y diferentes trucos o maneras de aprendizajes hacia los alumnos.

This school is the worst school I have seen in a very long time. my son is a first grader and he was failing and no one took the time to reach out to me until the end of the second semester by sending me a report card. I feel that his teacher did not care for his learning. My son has ADHD and I do not want any special treatment but they never helped him and all they wanted was to have him under meds and that would not happen with me. I hate this school.

This school is horrible!! I leave a block from the school and refuse to send my daughter!! They have no sense of direction or communication. My daughter was bullied with the awareness of the Principal and teacher...Nothing was done about it. I will pay whatever before I send my child back to this school.

I just moved into this school dist. I did not want to put my son in ips schools, but as a single mom i could no longer aford the tuition at St. Michaels Catholic School. This school was exactly what a i pictured it to be. This school has no direction, the children just seem to run all around the school at the end of the day, and in the morring. There seems to be no displiyne in this school what so ever! my child will not be going to this school nexy year. I will work 2 jobs to keep him out of school 61!!!!
