I teach History for the night portion of our program. Christel House DORS is an excellent program that provides adults the opportunity to finish high school. Our students recieve a diploma, and through our partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, they can earn college credits as well. We have a very strong and supportive team of teachers and administration that make the program run smoothly. It's a sefl paced, blended learning environment, meaning students recieve a combination of direct instruction and online curriculum and can complete their semesters at their own pace. The more you do outside of class, the quicker you graduate! We are getting ready to celebrate out first graduation, and witnessing the sense of pride and accomplishment in the students makes this work incredibly fufilling.
Christel House DORS gives adult learners the opportunity to complete their high school diplomas, as well as earn dual enrollment credit through Ivy Tech Community College. It's a caring, self-paced, and positive academic atmosphere that promotes individual and group learning. The school really focuses on preparing lifelong learners -- for college and beyond!
Students here not only get individualized instructions, whole group instructions, but they also work at their own pace. The teachers and staff at Christel House DORS really care about the students and work closely with them to ensure that they are getting the help they need, not only academically, but in their personal lives as well. We are a great support system for others. Christel House DORS is a great place for you to get a second chance at earning your high school diploma.
Christel House DORS is a great environment for adult learners.
