This school is what you call low class. Some of the staff is very rude and very disrespectful. Talking to them is like talking to yourself. I have had nothing but problem's since my child has attended this school. The principal needs to take a class on how to be respectful to her student's and the parent's, I would not recommend any parent to send their child there. The score the school has tell's you that school need's to close.

This school is ok. The teachers explain how to do your work and the principal is good at Safety and Discipline.

School has improved 100% from years past!

Posted April 10, 2004

My son has trouble 'getting' his Math. His teacher will explain it one time and then 'the students are on their own.' This teaching technique has been this teacher's style all year. It obviously is not working. Emma Donnan's low ISTEP scores in Math are proof that. My son will not attend this school next year! I have been very unhappy with the school and more importantly my son's confidence about school has declined rapidly since his one year at Emma Donnan.
