My child attends shakamak elem. Since she has started school there she is like a different kid! She is so much easier to talk to and more outgoing.Thank you Mrs.Eccles and everyone dedicated to helping mine and other children succeed everyday.
This school is in a low income rural community. It offers a safe, disciplined atmosphere. But doesnt have funds to offer your child a well rounded education and extra programs. The PTO is strong and active. If you have a child with special needs...move to a different county! Prayer and religions are encouraged. It is definitely a place where your child will be challenged to fit in with the existing clicks. The cafe serves instant meals, not home cooked. But this school is very safe and most of the teachers are very loving and caring. Take an active role in your childs class work, involve youself in the PTO, be involved in sports. Be assertive and informed and you will be pleased.
